Privacy Policy

picks12.com

The operator of this website (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs picks12.com (the “Site”) under the Picks12 brand. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and what you can do about it.

1. Who is responsible

The operator of the Site is responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us any time at [email protected]; further details are on our Contact page.

2. What we collect

2.1 Contact and account data: your email address, your Telegram username, your subscription status and anything you write to us. You give us this directly.

2.2 Quiz answers: if you go through the questionnaire at /start, we store the answers you selected together with an anonymous ID, so we can send you picks that match the sports and leagues you chose.

2.3 Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device, operating system, time zone, pages visited, referring URL and similar log data.

2.4 Payment data: payments run through our provider Whop. We see that a payment happened and what it was for. We never receive or store your full card number.

2.5 Measurement data: we use strictly necessary cookies for security and basic Site functions. For traffic statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and does not build profiles of visitors. On campaign pages we also use the Meta Pixel and the Whop Pixel to measure how our ads perform; those transmit technical data to Meta and to Whop and may set cookies on your device.

3. Why we use it

3.1 To provide the service you paid for: setting up and running your subscription and delivering picks by Telegram and email.

3.2 To answer your questions and provide support.

3.3 To operate, secure and maintain the Site and to prevent fraud and abuse.

3.4 To measure and improve our advertising.

3.5 To meet our legal and tax obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the service, when the law requires it, or in connection with a sale or restructuring of the business. The providers we currently use are: Whop (payments and subscription management), Telegram (delivery of member content), GetResponse (email), Mailgun (transactional email), Cloudflare (hosting, delivery, security, cookieless analytics), Railway (application hosting) and Meta Platforms (advertising measurement).

5. How long we keep it

Contact data is deleted no later than 24 months after our last contact with you. Technical log data is kept only as long as needed for security and operations. Subscription data is kept for the length of the contract and afterwards only as long as tax and accounting rules require.

6. Your choices and rights

6.1 Everyone: you can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any email, stop the Telegram messages by blocking the bot, and ask us to delete your data by emailing [email protected].

6.2 California residents: under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request a copy of it, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

6.3 Other states: residents of states with comparable privacy laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah and Texas) have similar rights of access, correction, deletion and opt-out. Email [email protected] and we will honor the request.

6.4 How to ask: email [email protected] from the address you signed up with. We reply within 45 days; if we need longer, we will tell you why.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Strictly necessary cookies keep the Site secure and working; they cannot be switched off. Cloudflare Web Analytics uses no cookies at all. The Meta Pixel and the Whop Pixel on our campaign pages do set cookies — you can block them in your browser settings, through your device's ad-tracking controls, or with any standard content blocker, and the Site will keep working.

8. Where your data goes

We are based outside the United States and several of our providers process data in the United States and elsewhere. Wherever it is processed, we require our providers to protect it under contract to a standard consistent with this policy.

9. Children and age

This service is for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has given us data, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your data we will notify you as the law requires.

11. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the service or the law changes. The current version is always at picks12.com/privacy, with the date of the last update below.
